BRAVE Teen Ambassador

Applications open July 15

We are looking for teen girls who are love Jesus and are passionate and hardworking.  Girls 9th-12th grade who would join our BRAVE teen ambassador team in Upstate NY from September 2025-March of 2026

We will accept application from July 15-July 31 and we would love for you to consider joining us.   If you are looking to grow deeper in your faith with other life minded teens, be encouraged, challenged and built up please fill out the application below.   Once it's submitted we will be in touch  with you about the next steps.

Our team of BRAVE mentors are committed to investing in YOU and your growth spiritually and in life!  We pray you will build lasting friendships, have fun and give us your input in creative ways to minister to your generation.

The Questions!

What does the teen ambassador team do?

The goal is to create a team of teen girls who have the same goals in mind.  To grow deeper in their faith, join community and serve others.  You will be intentionally discipled by our BRAVE mentors through Bible study, zoom calls and community events as well as guest speakers JUST for us.  You will help brainstorm ideas to serve local communities and help raise awareness of FCA BRAVE as well as contribute content through any of your gifting of blogging, photography, sports, social media, video etc..

Do you have to be local to Albany NY

For the 2025-26 pilot season of BRAVE ambassadors you will have to be local to Albany to attend our in person meetings or events. (About 45 minute radius- depending on your willingness to drive)

Do I have to be an athlete to join?

You do not have to be an athlete to join, but it would be helpful!

What is the cost?

No financial commitment Is needed.  It's free!

What is the time commitment?

We have mandatory meetings once a month on a Sunday night as well as a couple of events in person.  We do ask that all ambassadors attend the BRAVE conference in October on October 25th( you do not have to purchase a ticket if you are on the team) .  We will be introducing the team on stage at that time.  We will also have a photoshoot day (TBA) where we gather the girls for a professional photo shoot for our website and social medias.

What is the process?

Apply. Send us two reference emails for letters of recommendation. One zoom interview with a mentor once we have reviewed your application.

How many girls on the team?

Max 20, Min 12.

Guys. Faith is a journey and it's not for the weak.  It's insanely hard to go against the grain, but it's super cool to find athletes, coaches and well "guys guys" who are willing to journey with you. 

Most guys feel like they are alone in their pursuit of Jesus and many guys are beginning to wonder if it's even worth it.  So, I guess that is what we are going to tackle.  Is this pursuit of our faith worthy of our time and attention even worth it?  So join a group of elite athletes from around the region to figure this out and maybe.... it's worth it after all.
